Family Assistant/Nanny needed  Indianapolis & Orlando

Location: The family spends 9 months of the year in Indianapolis and 3 months during the summer in Orlando. A private apartment is provided in both locations.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week across five days. The typical hours are 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with flexibility required. In Orlando, the schedule is primarily Monday through Friday. In Indianapolis, weekend availability is required, but the candidate will still work only five days per week with two days off. Schedules are generally provided at least one month in advance.

Travel: Domestic and international travel is required.

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience | W-2
Start Date: ASAP; the family is ready to begin trials immediately.

About the Position

A warm, private family is seeking a polished Family Assistant/Nanny to support their growing household. They have a 1½-year-old daughter and are expecting a newborn in December.

This is primarily a hands-on Family Assistant position, with approximately 70% of the role focused on household support and 30% on childcare. The family needs someone who genuinely enjoys laundry, precise folding, organization, and creating systems that keep a home tidy and running efficiently.

Mom and Dad are frequently present, and Mom is a stay-at-home mom and very involved with the children. The ideal candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with involved parents while confidently stepping in with the toddler and newborn whenever needed.

Responsibilities

• Keep both residences neat, organized, and running efficiently ()
• Complete family laundry and linen care, with a strong focus on neat, precise folding
• Organize closets, drawers, clothing, toys, nurseries, and household storage
• Create and maintain practical organizational systems throughout the homes
• Tidy frequently used areas and sanitize children’s play spaces
• Assist with unpacking, organizing, and preparing both residences during seasonal moves
• Handle household projects, errands, and changing family needs
• Anticipate what needs attention and take initiative without requiring constant direction
• Assist Mom with the toddler and newborn during daily routines, appointments, and outings
• Independently care for one or both children when needed
• Engage the children through reading, outdoor activities, developmental play, and age-appropriate learning
• Help maintain consistent routines and organized children’s spaces
• Accompany the family on domestic and international travel

The Ideal Candidate

• Has professional experience as a Family Assistant, Nanny, House Manager, or Mother’s Helper
• Is comfortable with a role heavily focused on hands-on household responsibilities
• Takes pride in laundry, neat folding, organization, and maintaining an orderly home
• Has experience with toddlers and newborns
• Works well alongside parents who are frequently present
• Is proactive, observant, detail-oriented, calm, warm, and highly discreet
• Is flexible and comfortable dividing the year between Indianapolis and Orlando
• Is available for weekend work in Indianapolis and domestic and international travel
• Is seeking a stable, long-term position
• Speaks French or Spanish in addition to English, strongly preferred but not required
• Is willing to sign an NDA and follow a strict no-social-media policy
