Seasonal Delivery Driver – Pioneer Logistics

Pontiac, MI | Delivering in Clarkston, Lake Orion, Oxford, Metamora & Hadley

Seasonal Employment: Beginning October 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027

Starting Pay: $23.25/hour
Performance incentives + overtime opportunities
Eligible employees may earn $25+/hour or more when qualifying incentives and overtime are included.

Pioneer Logistics is hiring Seasonal Delivery Drivers for the 2026 holiday peak season. Our team starts each workday at our Pontiac delivery station and delivers packages throughout Clarkston, Lake Orion, Oxford, Metamora, Hadley, and surrounding communities.

Pioneer Logistics is an independent Delivery Service Partner that delivers packages for Amazon. You will be employed by Pioneer Logistics, LLC—not Amazon.

This is a seasonal position expected to run from October 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027. Employment beyond January 31 may be available based on business needs, available positions, and individual performance, but continued employment is not guaranteed .

Schedule

We have both full-time and part-time seasonal positions available.

• Full-time drivers generally work 4–5 days per week
• Part-time drivers generally work 2–3 days per week
• Weekend availability is required and weekends are rotated among the team
• Shifts are generally up to approximately 10 hours
• Typical start time is approximately 9:00–10:00 a.m.
• Route completion times vary by day, route, weather, traffic, and delivery volume
• Additional hours may be available during the holiday peak period

What You'll Do

As a Seasonal Delivery Driver, you will:

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle
• Deliver packages to homes, apartments, businesses, and other locations
• Use a handheld delivery device for navigation and delivery information
• Load and unload packages assigned to your route
• Navigate different delivery areas and road conditions
• Enter and exit the delivery vehicle frequently throughout the day
• Walk, climb stairs, and carry packages while completing deliveries
• Work outdoors in varying Michigan weather conditions
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers
• Work independently while remaining part of a supportive delivery team

This is an active position. Drivers should expect to spend much of the day walking, lifting, carrying packages, climbing stairs, and getting in and out of the delivery vehicle.

Packages may weigh up to approximately 50 pounds .

Basic Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Have a valid driver's license
• Be able to safely operate a delivery van
• Be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Be comfortable working independently for much of the day
• Be available for the schedule agreed upon during the hiring process
• Be willing to work in varying weather and road conditions

Previous delivery or commercial driving experience is preferred but not required .

You will spend much of your day independently on the road, but you are never working alone. Our dispatch and management team is available throughout the day, and our drivers support one another when additional help is needed.

Paid Training & Ramp-Up

No previous delivery experience is required.

New drivers receive paid training and are gradually introduced to the workload so they can become comfortable with the delivery process, vehicle, technology, and physical demands of the position.

This position is specifically being hired to support increased delivery volume during the 2026 holiday peak season .
